I've met Robin twice.  The first time
was aboard the 1989 SeaTrek
Cruise.  The second was a
Vulkon
Con in Atlanta GA, 2001.  A super
guest.  I worked side by side with
her as a Vulkon staff.  She is very
fan friendly and I think we are
blessed to have her as a part of
the Star Trek Universe.  Kudos
Robin.

Convention in Atlanta GA.
Here I am working with Robin as
a Vulkon Staff member.  She
was quite wonderful to work with.
Saavik.  (Kirstie Alley, Robin Curtis).  Starfleet officer who, as a
cadet, served as navigator on the Starship Enterprise during the
Project Genesis crisis in 2285.  Saavik, a Vulcan, had been
mentored by Spock, who counseled her that tolerance of her human
colleagues was logical.  Following the Genesis crisis, Saavik, along
with David Marcus, trasferred to the U.S.S. Grissom for further study
of the Gensis Planet.  Saavik later returned to planet Vulcan.  Savvik
apparently had sex with Spock on the Genesis Planet when Spock
was undergoing Pon farr during Star Trek III.  A sceen cut from the
final version of Star Trek IV would have shown that the reason
Saavik remained on Vulcan was because she was pregnant with
Spock's child.  The script for Star Trek II contained a line that would
have suggested Saavik was half-Vulcan and half-Romulan, but the
line was cut, and later films seemed to assume that she was pure
Vulcan.
